Our Children’s Clay Creatures Workshop is a fun and hands-on 2-hour pottery experience where children will learn how to make their very own animal-themed cup using the pinch pot technique.
Starting with a simple ball of rustic clay, children will learn how to pinch and shape their clay to create a cup, before transforming it into their very own cute clay creature. They can let their imagination run wild, adding animal features, textures and details to make their creation completely unique.
Once their piece is shaped, they will have the chance to underglaze and decorate their clay creature using a selection of colours. Their creations will then be carefully dried, bisque fired, clear glazed and fired again, ready to become a special handmade piece they can use and treasure.
